Barack Obama and his Day One Leadership Qualities
Leadership is the name of the game today. As we all join as one America we congratulate President Elect Barack Obama as one nation.
These are four leadership qualities that our new president elect is demonstrating on Day One:
1) Dedication: Rather than going off on vacation (right?), his first day has been busy at work choosing an outstanding team to get the job done.
2) Inclusiveness: Obama is already working across party lines in search of finding the best group and lead our nation through tough times.
3) Fast Forward : He’s won the election, no need to continue to talk about it. He is now moving forward at rapid speed.
4) Choosing other leaders with complementary skills: Obama is choosing leaders who complement his own leadership skills.

Thanks for your post. I thought I would add a couple other traits. He has demonstrated a clear and direct communication style. It is easy to understand where is is going and the reasons why, and there is usually no doubt about what he says or what he wants. Also, he is placing a high value on transparency and accountability (for himself and others).
