I would love to see these attributes in my president

By Dr. Gaby Cora - Executive Health & Wealth

Nobody questions upcoming president Obama knows how to charm his audience: as a social networking guru and media favorite, his way to the US presidency was made easy mostly by everybody’s gut-driven feeling of liking him and seeing him in a light of hope. Much has been projected onto this man as someone who unites and who will be the savior of us all. Most people have had a very emotional reaction to this man. The intellectual reaction has been mixed.

One of the characteristics that I admire the most about our country is the ability to stand as one nation and move forward together. By uniting in good will we hope to help our nation grow and develop improved relationships with the world around us (which we desperately need).

Lead by example while saving lives

By Dr. Gaby Cora

Experienced pilot leads by calm, vision and experience in critical time

Can you imagine? Your plane is coming down, you are dealing with your own emotions facing imminent death, you see your crew’s faces of despair in your mind’s eye and you sense your passengers’ horror and smell their fear?

US Airways pilot, Chesley Sullenberger, was already a hero before he saved his crew’s and passengers’ lives: he had envisioned, rehearsed, and trained others in safety strategies. He manifested his mission during flight 1549.

Food for thought:

As a leader, are you ready to bring your company to safety?
