Prior to EH&WI, she was Director, Regional Medical Research Specialist, Southeast US, at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. She was the Southeast Regional Council Coordinator and its representative to the Regional Sales department. Throughout her career at Pfizer, she was deeply involved in facilitating strategic business planning, effective teambuilding, mentoring and coaching others, individually and in teams, receiving the 2000 Pfizer Values in Action Award for Teamwork. She created and developed programs still current, such as the NIH/Pfizer Grantwriters' Workshops. Prior to Pfizer, she was a Clinical Researcher at the NIMH, National Institutes of Health in Maryland, where she served as an officer (Lieutenant Commander) in the US Public Health Service and was elected Chair of the Hispanic Officers' Advisory Committee to the Surgeon General. As a clinical researcher, she headed the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Unit Research Clinic, building a highly specialized clinical team and conducting state-of-the-art clinical research, which resulted in cutting-edge treatment options and peer-reviewed publications. At the NIH, she received the Hannah Cashman Memorial Award in recognition for her dedicated and compassionate care, given by the Consultation Liaison service at NIMH. Dr. Corá pursued a research career after her residency in Psychiatry at Saint Elizabeths' Hospital and George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Although most people know about her career path, few know she graduated as a doctor at the age of twenty-four with a nine month-old and a twenty-five month-old, with honors. Dr. Corá built a successful professional career while she built her personal family life with her husband and children. A tireless learner, she became fascinated with the study of personality characteristics at an early age. At fourteen she studied psychology, world religions, astrology, and metaphysics on her own, as she continued to excel in her academic studies at school, graduating valedictorian. She is deeply thankful to her clients and patients, as they have been an inspiring force in her quest for knowledge. She has developed expertise in traditional as well as alternative methods of healing and medical interventions including scientific research at the prestigious National Institutes of Health, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, the foundation for the coaching method; Executive Coaching at Coach University, Intensive Brief Dynamic Psychotherapy with Dr. Habib Davanloo, Energy work, and Relaxation and Regression Therapy with Dr. Brian Weiss, to name a few. Dr. Corá strives to bring together every learning experience into action as she assists others achieve their maximum potential and ultimate well-being. She has consistently devoted her energy to achieve this state of well-being herself: she talks the talk and walks the walk: On a physical level she has the stamina of an athlete, the creative mind of an entrepreneur, the heart of a physician, the spirit of an artist, and the profound social conscience to be of service to others. She firmly believes her main task is to integrate what seems to be paradoxically disconnected as she helps others find their own, unique talents as they pursue their passion into action. She takes a holistic approach in every endeavor she undertakes, implementing change, transforming at the core, integrating comprehensive individual and organizational strategies and interventions in the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions. Dr. Corá views herself as a "Translator", speaking the appropriate "language" in each and every setting. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and appears in Who's Who in Executives & Professionals, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in The World.
